We are producing a monthly newsletter, arising out of concerns discussed by the committee at Zoom meetings:
Newsletter February 2021
Newsletter March 2021
Great news that we have a fabulous page in We Are Swindon which gives us lots more ‘exposure’, thanks to new committee member Angela Atkinson: https://weareswindon.co.uk/swindons-charity-hub/friends-of-swindon-museum-and-art-gallery/
Also Cllr Dale Heenan has been suggested for an award as an arts supporter:

Cllr Dale Heenan came second in the bid to find the country’s number one arts supporter:
Although the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery is currently CLOSED due to Covid-19
- Talks are currently taking place via Zoom. Friends will receive links to these talks
- Results of our online survey to members will be published soon
- We are continuing to fundraise for Swindon Museum & Art Gallery and have committed £500 towards the running of children’s workshops which are a vital part of the museum’s programme of events.
- The children’s workshops at Swindon Museum and Art Gallery over the summer of 2019 were a massive success thanks to the funding provided by the Friends. The support given by members of the Friends through volunteering to help run the workshops was fantastic and was much appreciated by the visitors and staff at Swindon MAG.
