Ceramics that beguile, ceramics that bewitch… this exhibition celebrates the most unusual and unsettling ceramics in Swindon’s collection of modern British Art.
Ceramic artists can manipulate clay to create rippling surfaces, soft flowing shapes, or knife sharp edges. Ceramics can be inspired by dreams and nightmares. This exhibition explores the subversive side of contemporary ceramic art.
The exhibition features modern and contemporary ceramics by Malene Hartmann Rasmussen, Fenella Elms, Laurence Simon, Patricia Volk, Ben Arnup and Grayson Perry.
