Trip to Sculpture in the Landscape 2020

The Friends of the Garden is a voluntary organisation which organises biennial exhibitions of sculpture and bursary programmes for contemporary sculptors. Their exhibitions programme is undertaken in partnership with Pound Arts and forms part of its Arts Rural Touring programme.
This is their 7th and last sculpture exhibition and it promises to be a very special event.   Featuring a selection of over 50 sculptors who have exhibited with the programme since 2007, all work will be for sale.  These sculptors include Philip Simmonds, Mel Fraser, Ian Marlow, Johannes Von Stumm, Helen Sinclair, John O’Connor and Penny Hardy!
The site is set in a 5 acre landscaped garden which in 1969 showed work by 18 prominent contemporary sculptors of the day. They included Roger Leigh, Hubert Dalwood, Henry Moore, William Pye and Austin Wright.

Please note: The site is a sloping down with mown paths throughout. There are no steps but access to the whole site for people with a disability might be difficult. Seating is available at regular intervals.
A popup café run by village charities will provide light lunches, morning coffee, and afternoon teas.

Cost £7.50 (includes a full catalogue of the art on display)
Travel to be made by shared lifts.
