In 2013 The Cutting Edge of Modernity was held at the Osborne Samuel Gallery in London. The exhibition celebrated artists who worked with and studied under renowned linocut artist Claude Flight at the Grosvenor School of Modern Art during the 1920s and ‘30s. In this talk Gordon Samuel discusses stunning linocuts created throughout these decades, including work by Sybil Andrews, Cyril Power, Lill Tschudi, and of course Claude Flight. Gordon Samuel is co-owner of the prestigious Osborne Samuel Gallery in London, and sits on the board of Trustees for the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery Trust.
