The Corinium Museum has started building works for a 1.6 million redevelopment project. The project, called “Stone Age to Corinium: Discover the Archaeology of the Cotswolds”, is a Heritage Lottery funded project which includes funding for activity as well as the building works. It will create a new reception area, new interactive prehistory to early Roman galleries, a new garden linked to the café, and new Discovery Centre where a range of activities will take place. Museums are facing many challenges in the current climate, therefore this project supports the Museum’s wider strategy to become more resilient and relevant in the 21st century and follows on from the Museum’s recent rebranding.
Join the Museum’s Director Amanda Hart to hear more about the project and what the future holds for Corinium Museum.
